BDF organized two plastic surgery camps in association with the Burnt Unit of Dhaka Medical College and the technical assistance of British High Commission of Bangladesh. Late Professor Shahidullah performed the surgery and Professor Shahidul Barry assisted the camp. Thousands of patients offered treatment and few hundred were operated during the camp free of charge.
