Community-Based Rehabilitation Program
The young man wearing the green Panjabi is a success story of the BDF’s CBR Program. He was a student of the BDF Narayanganj project. After completing his education, he is now working as an Assistant Director at the Islamic Foundation.
Our Approach
This innovative approach enables essential services to reach people living in remote and inaccessible areas without requiring extensive infrastructure, complex administration, or large numbers of highly specialized professionals.
Recognizing the effectiveness and sustainability of the CBR model, the organization has undertaken programs focused on sight restoration, prevention of blindness, inclusive education, rehabilitation, and social inclusion.
The program aims to empower person with visually impaired and low vision by ensuring equal access to education, healthcare, training, rehabilitation services, and opportunities for independent living.
